	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Petals by Xavi: No PROS CONS seems to have unlimited ideas unorganized can not work with in a budget did not arrive on time OVERALL COMMENTS I had a very bad experience with this company, on the day of the wedding there was over $800 worth of flowers missing and what did arrive was in the wrong colors. Xavi herself handled my wedding after one of her employees went missing for months and I could not get in touch with the person I initially met with, so I had to start over again with Xavi, who in short kept upping the prices, could not work with in my budget of $2000. when I was told it would not be a problem originally. So I asked for my deposit back she was obviously too busy to take me on as client with her employee gone. Yet she refused to return my deposit and i was backed into a corner. Ended up paying $1200 over my budget and on my wedding day. No Xavi, lots of flowers missing, and what was there had to be changed around to accommodate the 75 small arrangements not there and the 2 whole centerpieces missing. Forget that some people did not get boutonnieres and corsages.

She lied to the Better Business Bureau and the credit card company by saying the unseen, unapproved, and unsigned papers were seen, approved, and signed. 	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Petals by Xavi: No PROS CONS None Non- responsive. Does not read their emails. I sent a letter terminating services on 7/29 on 8/5 Xavi called me and asked if I was still showing up for the meeting. HOW CAN SHE TELL ME THAT SHE IS THERE FOR HER BRIDES WHEN SHE DOESN'T EVEN READ HER EMAILS. OVERALL COMMENTS I read a lot of emails stating they lie and I completely back that up. Bcc'd my email to an ex-employee... who is not only no longer with the company but broke my trust. Lied to my face and said that she contacted me when infact I followed up with the company since no one ever got back to me. When I finally met with Xavi she had me wait for her in her design studio, saw designer use wilting flowers for an upcoming wedding. All references to a show with TLC tie back to Project Wedding, created by an employee of Petals, there are no other references to a valid show. Terminated services because I was worried she wouldn't provide service for my wedding, on 7/29 on 8/6 she called confirming an appointment...DOESN'T SHE READ HER EMAILS???? They'll say everything that a Bride wants to hear...no follow through.

	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Petals by Xavi: Yes PROS CONS ALWAYS AVAILABLE EASY GOING BEAUTIFUL WORK PERSONAL WORKED WITH MY BUDGET OVERALL COMMENTS I hired Petals by Xavi to do my flowers and my Coordination. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!! They really worked with my budget and made sure everything I asked for and wanted happened!!! Even when I was uncertain about my colors and "out-there" design ideas Xavi reassured me that they would not let me down and everything would be beautiful and SHE DEFINITELY CAME THROUGH!!! MY WEDDING WAS ABSOLUTELY THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE AND I REALLY OWE ALOT OF THAT TO XAVI AND ALL HER FABULOUS WORK! I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS GUIDANCE THROUGHOUT THE HELL OF MAKING A WEDDING HAPPEN!! THANK YOU PETALS BY XAVI!!!!

I read all the comments below and it just seems like their talking about another company. Amanda and Jeana don't work for the company anymore and I met with Neema, and honestly, she was sweet, friendly, and suggested flowers for me and my bridal party. I went into it not knowing how much I wanted to spend and of course they suggested everything to me and then when I saw the price, I realized it was way out of my price range. Then, Neema contacted me again and asked what she could do to help me and I told her that I loved Petals by Xavi and how they offer day of coordination (which no other florist I met with offered me) and I just was upset that I couldn't afford them. Neema reassured me and told me that because I didn't come in with a budget and had no idea what I wanted and got so excited about everything they offered me, they didn't realize I had a limit and she told me to come back and she could work with me. I went back AGAIN and met with Neema and Xavi. They sat down with me for like 2-3 hours and we came up with every way I could save money and that they work with ANY BUDGET. I was so happy cause honestly, with the economy the way it is, I just need to cut down. I'm sure everyone does... Needless to say, they worked with me and cut down the original price by 60% and they are still giving me day of coordination (which basically means that they will stay with you the day of your wedding for 5-8 hours!!! They will pin the men's boutineires and bring the altar pieces from my ceremony to my reception so I can use them and they are even using my bridesmaids bouquets as part of the whole design. I just can't say enough. Neema had great ideas and Xavi was incredible. What I recommend is going into the whole appointment with a budget and if you have no idea what flowers you want, they will help you. I met my designer, Kevin too... He put together a sample for me (matter fact, 2 samples because I didn't know if I wanted orchids or manzanita trees) and I just can't imagine booking with anyone else. I met with Z's Garden and he was WAY OVERPRICED and I met with A Classy Touch of Decor and she just seemed like she didn't know flowers as much as I would have liked. I also met with other vendors and none made me feel as good as Neema, Xavi, and Kevin... Thank you guys...

	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Petals by Xavi: Yes PROS CONS Once they set up the flowers they actually stayed to help my bridesmaids with little tasks and boutonnieres. They even replaced my fiance's boutonniere before the reception... after they finished moving the ceremony decor to the reception site. A little more expensive, but well worth it!! OVERALL COMMENTS I used Petals by Xavi for my wedding AND for my best friend's. That should say enough.... and I would do it all over again. They are more upscale, but they were able to work well within my tight budget due to the economy. They helped me come up with flower ideas, when I had no idea what else I wanted other than roses. They pulled together my color pallet, and the day of my wedding, I was extremely happy with the results. My bridal bouquet was EXQUISITE and my tall centerpieces were a compliment-magnet!! I had a great experience with Petals by Xavi, and I would unquestionably recommend them to anybody!

We had a second design session at my location to see exactly how the flowers were going to be planned out for my wedding day. I saw a sample that I loved and my wedding day flowers were even better. I didn't even think that was possible. I just had a great experience all around. It doesn't matter which consultant you get, they are all trained the same way and are all very knowledgable about flowers and design. Along the way I ended up meeeting several of their consultants and really liked them all. OVERALL COMMENTS My wedding was last weekend and the flowers were more than I could have imagined. From the moment Xavi handed me my bouquet at the church to the final touches at the reception the flowres were truly amazing. I can truly say that my wedding was even more perfect because of my flowers. My wedding was at Pacific Hills. David and Tamin recommended Xavi as her team does a lot of work there and they have seen nothing but beautiful work form Petals by Xavi. Xavi took me by the hand as my guest were in the cocktail hour and as I walked through the side door, I started crying. The room looked more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The flowers were magnificant. Petals by Xavi surprised me with adding tons of candles everywhere. The flowers made my entire wedding. The flowers on the cake made my cake the most beautiful one I have ever seen and the centerpieces exceeded my expectations. Petals by Xavi had a whole staff there that even put out my favors. I would definetley recommend Petals by Xavi to all of my girlfrieds and brides who rate flowers high up on their list.

OVERALL COMMENTS I met petals by xavi at a bridal expo, and knew right away i wanted them to do my wedding!! We had multiple meetings and my designer even came with me to my church and the hotel were we held out reception. The day of my wedding the centerpieces were even more beautiful than the sample they did for me.

Thought out of the box. could not complane. OVERALL COMMENTS I went to 5 other florists, and when I met with Petals by Xavi I knew I had the one I wanted. They created a beautiful lush vision that was my wedding, and alot cheaper than other quotes that I got. I have two friends that are getting married and they are also using them. I still keep in touch with the designer i worked with, he was so nice!

Listened to my vision and made it better than I excpected. Worked with my budget. designer always busy. A little pricey. OVERALL COMMENTS I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED MY FLOWERS!!! The designer i worked with, Colin, was so awesome. He helped me with so much with everything, not only my flowers but gave his honest opinion when I asked him. On the day of my wedding, everything was perfect!!! Each piece was beautiful and unique. If you are thinking of using petals by xavi, do so, and make sure and ask for him.

	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Petals by Xavi: No PROS CONS good design, especially at the initial stage. good at making you feel comforted before the event. disorganized! designer makes changes without fully explaining it to you. event centerpieces did not look like the mockup design. designer didn't make changes I requested during mockup phase into the final product. overpriced for the end product. OVERALL COMMENTS Overall, I would not recommend Flowers by Xavi. I know different locations may have different designers, but I wouldn't take the chance again. In the beginning, they are very accommodating and make you feel like everything's under control. However, in the end, they either forget things or they make changes they think should be done, and completely disregard the bride's initial requests. I was so sad that my initial request (of having my bouquet different than my bridesmaids' bouquets) was not kept. To the untrained eye (which is like everyone, including myself) all of the bouquets looked the same, except for their sizes. I thought I made it a big point to have the bridesmaids bouquets totally different than mine. Also.. the groom's bouquet fell apart.. not once, but twice. =(

	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Petals by Xavi: No PROS CONS Designers have great vision and enthusiasm. The price you are quoted in the beginning is not the price you will end up paying. Add around $800-$1000 to your initial quote. No joke. They may make minor changes to your arrangements that may not be so minor. I do have to agree w/ the other bride's review (below) in that they are a little disorganized, and some things did fall apart on the day of for me as well. OVERALL COMMENTS Overall, Petals by Xavi does nice work but they are overpriced, and you don't always end up w/ what you think you're getting. The changes are usually still pretty, but it is disappointing to not get what you initially wanted.

Disorganized - Quality - groom's Boutineire fell apart by end of ceremony. to replace it, they took an orchid out of the bride's bouquet. flower girls kissing ball fell apart by end of ceremony and one of the bridesmaids bouquets was falling by the beginning of the ceremony. i was also told there would be a bow on my centerpieces so that guests could pull the centerpieces to take home, that did not happen. OVERALL COMMENTS 8/23/2007- I've been asked to alter my comments on my review by Petals by Xavi because it appears brides are doing their homework and paying attention to my review. I've been asked to include some further information or the company is going to sue me. When I wrote my review it was the day after my wedding, therefore, the following information wasn't available to post in my comments. I contacted Xavi on 6/11/2007 and told her how disappointed I was with her work. I also sent her pictures that day of my niece's kissing ball when it fell apart, told her about the boutonniere and flower being pulled out of my bouquet and told her i was disappointed that the centerpieces did not come with a bow as I was told. She told me via phone on 6/11/07 that she would review with her team what happened and see what she could do and contact me in the next couple of days. I contacted her on 6/1707 as I still had not received a call back from her. She emailed me on 6/18/07 apologizing for still not getting back to me. Later that week she called me and she agreed to refund me for the kissing balls ($60 each), twice the amount of the boutonniere ($30), and $5 for every centerpiece ($70) - for a total of $220.00. I didn't feel this was enough for the trouble I went through but I was just satisfied to receive anything back. She did listen to my concerns after the wedding, but AFTER the wedding doesn't really help. I only addressed my concerns so that maybe she could improve her services so that other brides may not have the same experience and to help her business out. I am 2 months pregnant and have a high chance of a miscarriage so at the risk of my baby's health and mine, I have decided to alter the review in hopes she will leave me alone. In addition, my reception venue, Los Coyotes Country club was disappointed working with Petals by Xavi and have told me they would prefer not to work with this company in the future.
