LADIES THE PRICE IS NOT WORTH THE STRESS DAVIDS WILL PUT YOU THREW. EVERY STEP I'VE HAD A PROBLEM. FROM THE ORGINAL DRESS I PICKED UP AND PUT ON HOLD AND THEN 3 DAYS LATER THEY TOLD ME THEY DON'T CARRY THE DRESS ANY MORE. ALTERATIONS HAVE BEING NOTHING BUT A PROBLEM. TODAY- 3 DAYS BEOFRE MY PICK UP DATE THEY CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT THEY FORGET TO CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $95 AFTER I ALREADY PAID $180 AND THAT THEY WOULD NOT TOUCH MY DRESS UNTIL I PAID THE FEES THEY FAILED TO CHARGE ME, AND IF I WANTED I COULD TAKE THE DRESS BACK. WITH 8 DAYS TO GO WHAT CHOICE DO I HAVE? I'M NOW DEALING WITH CORPRATE. O YES, I FAILED TO MENTION I SPENT $85 ON UNDER GARMENTS, WHICH WAS FITTED, BUT WHEN ARRIVED FELL OFF OF ME. NOW THEY SAID I HAVE TO MAIL THEM BACK AND IT WILL TAKE UP TO 6 WEEKS TO GET A REFUND. AVOID THIS COMPANY! |

I have been to David's Bridal a few times and every time I HAVE to walk through the days, I hate it more and more each time. My best friend got married a few years ago and I had to get the bridesmaid dresses from there. First of all, they refused to order my dress until one of the other lazy, half-wit bridesmaids paid for their dress and then when the dress came back from alterations, it sagged...I hate looking at photos of myself from her wedding.
Just to get ideas for my own wedding, I went to David's. BIG mistake. First of all, they made me sign up for their mailing list which they subsequently gave my email address to every wedding vendor in New York state, just about. Then I was assigned a rude person to "help" me. They asked what size I was and I said a six. She snickered and said she thought I was an eight. Guess what? I was right, I am a size six! They don't seem to carry anything larger than a size ten anyway. Then I went looking for a dress...out of the entire place, there were only three dresses with anything that could resemble a sleeve (I was looking for sheer sleeves with embroidery). So as long as you're 150lbs or less and want a strapless A-line dress, and be a "cookie-cutter bride" then you'll have many dresses at your disposal!
As if standing in ugly dresses I didn't even want wasn't bad enough, I was stuck on a podium for 20 minutes while this woman went and helped other customers. I felt like a store mannequin. I hated every minute of being there. |
