The good was good and we got compliments from our guests |
Lots and LOTS of hidden charges! Other people I've talked to- after the wedding- who had their wedding reception (two other couples) also had problems. |

My mother had her wedding reception at the Bull Run and my grandparents had their 50th anniversary party there, so you could say we're repeat customers. I also got married and had my reception at the Bull Run. The bridge was pretty, but there were A LOT of hidden charges. Our "Wedding Hostess" cost us a few extra hundred- although the website says it's free, and she didn't even show up at the rehearsal!! We had to pay extra for items (such as easels and tables). They left my family to set up some tables and chairs for the ceremony, even though they promised that they would set up them up-- for a fee (which we had paid). The Hostess pulled my mother aside during my wedding to try and get her to pay more fees that had never been discussed... and then the hostess interrupted the photographer taking pictures of my husband and I leaving the building, to tell us we had to take all of our trash with us. They wouldn't let us use their dumpster, so we had to stop taking pictures and load our car with trash. |
