Melissa seemed very nice and professional AT FIRST.She was willing to accommodate a last minute need.Nice website. |
Melissa was rude on the day of the wedding.She and her crew arrived 15 minutes before the ceremony.She was unaccessible by phone on the day of the wedding.She was rude and never apologized for arriving an hour late.The boutonnieres were not in colors that matched the rest of our wedding.My bouquet, which cost $250 was only slightly bigger than the bridesmaids bouquets that were a fraction of the cost. |

OVERALL COMMENTS |
Melissa was hired as a florist for my wedding on June 9th, 2007. We were charged a $200 setup fee but she arrived an hour late, fifteen minutes before the ceremony and had my groom and his groomsmen set up the arch that was to appear in the ceremony. We had help from a family member with pinning boutonnieres on the groomsmen, we even had to sweep the floor to clean up the debris left behind by the greenery on the arch. The arch was supposed to have lights but there were no such lights - it looked horrible! The arch cost us $175.
Melissa never introduced herself, or apologized. There were no attempts to contact myself or my bridesmaids (though she had phone numbers) to let us us know she was lost or running late. We tried calling her on several occasions an hour prior to the event and she was not accessible. When she arrived, she was on the phone the entire time and was rude to both my fiance and his groomsmen!
I believe that we should not have to pay for delivery and setup charges, and we should not have to pay full price for something that was not delivered as described.
We have yet to get a refund or hear anything back from her. |
