Eventually Bob Manning is going to get sued and will, most deservedly, lose his business. The sooner the better. My husband and I weren't even going to get a video until we met Bob at a vendor expo (word to the wise: this snake knows what he's doing and is disarmingly charming in person). I called Bob FOUR TIMES in the two weeks leading up to my wedding to confirm details and he didn't return any of my calls. Finally, the jerk finally left me a voicemail during my rehearsal dinner saying HE would see me the next day. Well, he didn't show; he sent some guy named Bill in his place. Now, we had added a clause in the contract that our videographer would be Bob and no one else, so it was entirely unacceptable for him to send Bill. Fast forward almost a year, we haven't received ANYTHING from Bob except a bunch of excuses and lies about "hard and fast deadlines" that have come and gone. I'll post a follow-up on the quality of the video (if we ever get it?), but based on Bob's unconscionable business practices, I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. Please do not hire this liar. |

I can't believe what I am reading here. My family has hired Bob Manning to do all three of our weddings since 2001 and as recently as 2008. He has been nothing but completely professional, personable and extremely talented. The final products were outstanding and each unique, catching the personalities of each couple. I am dumbfounded reading the bad reviews. I also noticed that it seems the same people may be posting over and over again? I would encourage you to call Bob and share your concerns prior to hiring him. I can't imagine you will be disappointed. |

Do NOT hire Bob Manning and Bellevue Productions. I wish I had done more homework before hiring him. He is a compulsive liar. We originally hired him because his samples looked very professional. It is all just a sham.
He said he would be at our wedding. He called the day of the wedding to let us know that he couldn't make it because he had to "fill in" at someone else's wedding. He probably never intended on being there for our wedding. So instead, he sent another videographer to show up.
Our contract clearly states that we would get our footage in 8-12 weeks. We were married in July of 2009. It is now 10 months later and we still haven't received anything from him except for more excuses.
After many months of waiting, we complained to him and I think many other couples did the same thing. He sent the same generic emails to everyone stating that he has hired a person to handle phone calls and that he would try harder to return phone calls. Again, more lies.
Every time I call, it just goes to his voice mail. He never returns phone calls. He never replies to emails. It'll be months between emails.
What's even crazier is he says he's super busy with other customers. But he just redid the layout and content of his website. He also has been adding a page on Facebook. He's obviously keeping busy...except not on our wedding video which we already paid for.
I filed a complain with the BBB and it went unresolved because he refused to address any of the items in their letter.
I also filed a complaint with the RI Attorney General's office. They are currently investigating this. Hopefully we'll have a resolution soon. I highly recommend that if you are in our boat, please file a complaint as well. Bob Manning should not be allowed to rip off any other customers. |

To all brides, BEWARE! Do not hire Bob Manning, the sole person behind Bellevue Productions if you want to see a wedding DVD. I concur with all the negative reviews that were written. It is now 6 months after our wedding we still haven't received the complete product. In addition my heart sank when I saw the rough footage. Bob stood at the back of the room for the ceremony and you cannot see our faces. On top of that the back of people's heads are in the footage. In addition, my parents toast was not in the footage which was one of the most important parts of the wedding. He does not respond to emails or return phone calls. He has promised a complete product several times and we still have not received it. He should not be in business. I am so disappointed.
update: called and claimed that he would get us the product by Jan 31. received our product. the editing is amateur at best. Can't imagine why it would take months to get it done, I was expecting some kind of masterpiece. Now he wants the rest of his money. He can wait as long as we did. I have to spend $1,500 to get an Apple to edit my own wedding DVD. |

I was married in 2002, and am filling this out in 2009...because that is how disgusted I am with Bob Manning. He didn't show up for the rehersal as he was supposed to, then came for the wedding and took almost a year to deliver the video. It was missing the major moments I asked specifically for him to cover, yet covered almost 10 mins of communion at the church. The video repeated clips over multiple times and I could go on. I worked with him for 3 years to correct the video and he promised me the world and I kept giving him another chance, then one day he just said...you know what...I am not going to do anything for you. Told me simply, too bad, he knew it sucked but he was too busy and wanted to pay attention to customers currently working with him. I tried to get an attorney but it became not worth the money. I just wanted all my footage so I could pay someone else, and he would not provide it. He is a terrible business person, very dishonest, and you are simply just lucky if you end up with a good product from him. It is not worth it. He is not at all what he sells you that he is! I agree with some of the other reviews and feel he really does have something against brides! There are too many good videographers out there, why take the chance with Belevue Products, Bob Manning's word means nothing!!! |

Bob Manning was our videographer for our wedding. He does a fantastic job he captured memories of a lifetime. He has many different packages to choose from. We chose a package that he covered the whole day from start to finish and edited to music. We have been married almost three years and we still watch it because it was done so beautifully. |
