HORRIBLE!! IF I could give this review ZERO stars I would have. I had booked Battle Creek Films for our wedding at the end of October. We had exchange a variety of emails so I could understand exactly what I wanted and which of the three options would work the best. He informed me that the middle package was 5 hours and did not include the time between the ceremony and reception, so we went with that choice. Two weeks before the wedding I left him two messages to call me and confirm and go over the service. I did not hear back from him. My mother attempted to call him the week of the wedding and he did get back to her claiming that he had tried to contact me a number of times on my cell phone but it had been ringing busy for the past week. . .weird as others got through, Anyways, he told my mom that a dinner is expected so we got his meal choice and he also made it quite clear that he wanted to be seated by the videographer. I did not seem him until after the wedding ceremony where he was sitting in the back and told me that I "have a balance due." I thought this was weird since he said payment was due at the time he is done and it had only been 30 minutes. Regardless, things were busy and he was paid and was never seen again. He was wearing a t-shirt that was short and his stomach was showing which I thought was highly inappropriate for wedding attire. He was contacted the next week to ask where the confusion happened. He stated that he was never told he was to stay for the 5 hours, that he was only booked for the ceremony. All the emails that were sent prior to booking his services were forwarded to him and questioning why he would demand a meal and where to be seated if he was sure he was not to attend the reception and dance. He continued to be standoffish, said he did what he was told, and continued to tell us the "video was coming." After 7 weeks (which he kept saying would come "that week"), we received our wedding videos. When we watched them yesterday, I could not have been more disappointed. First off all, the opening says" Rachel and Jake" and our names are Jennifer and Jeremy. The filming was HORRIBLE, not once in the entire ceremony did you see my face, I was not on tape coming down the aisle and neither was the ring bearer, our sand ceremony was also out of sight and he made no attempt to get it on tape. Also, there was so much movement, I felt dizzy watching it. I am so hurt because this was a very important day and a very expensive day and all I have to watch is 15 minutes of the back of my veil and some of my guests in the background. I was trying to be patient, but as the previous review mentioned, we will also be involving our lawyer, if he does not want to provide good services and a good product, I am confused as to why he offers a service attached to such an important part of people’s lives. I would also NOT recommend any of this company’s service to anyone.
