OVERALL COMMENTS This place is beautiful. The only thing you need to bring is your guest, DJ, and cake. they provide everything. I would also bring your own touch of style to jazz up the place a little more to make it fit your tatse and style.

	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Addison Event Center/Addison Banquet Center: No PROS CONS It's in Addison Did not return emails Did not return phone calls Were rarely, if ever at facility Made up a lot of excuses for no communication 1 week before my wedding Did not have a taste testing Did not have an event coordinator OVERALL COMMENTS Nothing was done in the contract except that they took my $1000 which her "business partner" cashed at my bank. These people are crooks, liars and thieves....it's called Theft by Deception but because they lure you into signing what they call a contract, they are able to keep the police from doing anything and it becomes a civil issue. THESE PEOPLE MUST HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL!

	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Addison Event Center/Addison Banquet Center: No PROS CONS The place is affordable and beautiful. They are unreliable, rude and unprofessiona. They are theives. OVERALL COMMENTS We spoke with D'juna and wanted to book the place. !st appointment with her she was a no show. 2ND appointment with her she was late. An hour after our appointment we finally got in contact with her on her cell. She told us she was on her way. We waited a total of 4 hours and then when she showed up she was very rude. Our intent of the appointment was to pay the deposit and sign the contract but after being treated so bad that I went to bath bathroom to cry. I just could not sign or give her any money. She also tried to sell us on the new place "The International". Thank god we did not sign. My wedding is in Sept/08 and out of curiosity I pass by to see if its almost finished with the construction and it not even close to finished. I have never been treat so bad. It's a blessing we did not sing a contract or give her any money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The place itself is beautiful but the lack of professionalism and lack of communication is not what people deserve. This is no way to do business!

OVERALL COMMENTS Djuna Case promised her new facility would be ready for our wedding in OCT 08. She told us it would be ready by June. As of one week ago it still looked exactly the same as it did when we say the site in DEC 07. She is a liar and a thief an we have filed a civil suit against her to get our deposit back

When there were issues the owners stepped in and took care of things. I would recommend this site to anyone who likes strait forward pricing and knowledgeable help.

	Rate this Vendor  Would recommend Addison Event Center/Addison Banquet Center: No PROS CONS None come to mind Horrible communication Unprofessional behavior Too many things to list OVERALL COMMENTS The first time we met her she was an hour late. After that day I called her probably 20 times in 3 weeks. Trying to get ahold of her so I could take her a check for half of the deposit. One day when I called her mail box was full. That alone let me know that I wasn't the only person trying to reach her, because out of the 20 or so times I called, I only left 3 messages. She had gotten my messages but had not called me back! So I go and see her November 1st, almost a month after our first meeting when she was an hour late. I talk to her a bit, give her the check that my dad wrote and she gives me two pieces of paper which she says is the contract, tells me to take it home and sign it and then bring it back with the rest of the deposit and we will be good to go. By mid-November my dad calls me and says that the check hadn't gone through yet. I left her a message again asking her why she hasn't deposited the check. I called her again about 20 times in another 2 week span. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. I called and told her we were going to take our business else where because of her none communication. Still, no call back. I sent emails, I drove by the place trying to catch her. But I never got to speak to her. Finally one morning about 2 weeks ago I drove by the place and left a note on the door saying due to her lack of communication we would be taking our plans else where if we hadn't heard from her by the day's end. I drove by again and saw car parked out front. One of the guys in the car got out and asked me if I was the person who worked there. He said he was the DJ for the event that night and that he had been parked out front for two hours and the lady was supposed to be there that morning so he could set up. He said he tried to call her and she hadn't answered. I saw the chef for the venue. He told me that she never returns peoples calls, not even his. He referred to her as sketchy and gave me his cell phone number and said to use him as a point of contact. A week later she still hadn't called or deposited my dad's check. So I went and found another venue and booked them. (They are awesome by the way). 2 months after my dad had written the check the woman cashed it. I told her that we were planning to come pick up the full refund that weekend and didn't want to use her facility. She tells us "No problem at all. I'll be happy to refund you. But I have to give the check to your father since he's the one who wrote the original check to me." WHAT?!?! You're telling me you can TAKE money from someone other than the check writer, but you can't refund to to anyone but him. We tell my dad. Him and my mom go up together to the location to get the refund. The woman's husband is there and tells them that he is the one who has to write them the check. My parents said they were very rude. And when he hadn't my mom the check it wasn't for the full amount. They claim that they had a contract with us so they had to hold a fee. But there was no contract. My mother nor myself ever signed anything. They were trying to cheat us. They never did anything and now they wanted to keep $350 of our money for what? Now my parents and I are taking them to court. My dad just filed the paper work with the court system to have them served. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE ADDISON EVENT CENTER. They have a new location they claim to be opening in 2008 that will be called 'The International'. Stay far away from these people. My mother knows a woman whose daughter was married there and they told us that they weren't able to speak to anyone until the WEEK of the wedding? The bride was a train wreck!! Do you want your day to be like that? My coworker and his fiancee' are geting married there. They have told me that they are having the same problem. Please avoid this place if you don't want to deal with unprofessional, dishonest, sketchy people.
